Founders

The idea for Women’s Lift Lab came about because there were no facilities where women could focus on improving their health in a private setting. Traditional women’s gyms had more cardio machines than barbells and more group dance classes than kettlebells. We wanted to provide a facility where women could build their confidence, improve their strength, all while making positive health changes!

 
 
 
 

Meet Sophia, Exercise Physiologist

Hi! My name is Sophia and I’m from Northern Virginia. I’m currently completing my undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and I plan to attend physical therapy school after. In my free time, I love to read, run, and play soccer. I currently play on the women’s club team at the University of Florida. Meet Rebecca, Exercise Physiologist

Hey y’all! My name is Rebecca but you can call be Becca. I attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. I’m from Fort Myers, Florida and I previously lived in Melbourne, Florida. I’m currently in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Florida and plan to specialize in pediatric therapy when I’m finished.

In my free time, I like to play pickleball, cook, and go to farmers and craft markets with friends!
